Gabriel Schaap is Director of Liquid Cooling Engineering at Gradian Thermal Solutions, leading the development and delivery of advanced cooling systems for data center applications. He oversees cross-functional engineering teams spanning electrical and controls, mechanical design, thermal engineering, test and integration, and project management, driving new product development from concept through commercialization. At Gradian Thermal Solutions, Gabriel leads complex programs, establishes engineering standards and processes, and aligns product execution with customer and industry needs to deliver reliable, scalable liquid cooling solutions for high-density data center environments.
With a career in engineering-driven product innovation since 2012, Gabriel has built deep expertise across electrical systems, embedded controls, and firmware within both industrial and data center applications. He has held past roles as engineering manager, technical architect, and principal engineer, consistently focused on accelerating innovation through new product development (NPD) and research and development (R&D). His experience includes building and leading multidisciplinary teams and working closely with global suppliers and internal stakeholders to bring integrated cooling systems from concept through deployment.
Gabriel was named inventor on multiple patent filings covering smart pump controls, advanced connector systems, and current-limiting technologies, with filings across the United States, Europe, and Taiwan. His focus is solving industry-wide cooling and power challenges by integrating intelligent controls with scalable infrastructure solutions, positioning Gradian Thermal Solutions to support the evolving needs of next-generation, high-density data centers.
