Speaker Bio
Patrick Huston brings nearly two decades of experience at the intersection of national defense, cybersecurity, and emerging technologies. A former U.S. Army Cyber & Signals Intelligence leader and combat veteran, Patrick spent seven years tackling high-stakes intelligence missions before transitioning into the private sector in 2016. Since then, he’s carved out a niche in enterprise-scale IoT security and operational risk mitigation.
At Google Cloud, Patrick leads a global security program focused on High Risk Inventory protection, Intellectual Property security, and Operational Visibility. He partners with SaaS and IoT providers like CargoSense to operationalize their platforms across multiple Google organizations, achieving a 100% recovery rate while driving efficiency at scale. His strategic deployment of AI digital agents and automation enables custom-built security solutions without expanding operational headcount.
Patrick holds a degree in Liberal Studies from Georgetown University and is a passionate advocate for the emergence of Web4—a vision for an intelligent, intuitive, and symbiotic web that merges physical systems, AI, and the Internet of Things. Beyond the data center, Patrick is a committed explorer. His adventures include a self-supported 10-day packrafting expedition down the North Fork of Alaska’s remote Koyukuk River, far above the Arctic Circle.
