Currently serving as the Chief Procurement Officer at Equinix, the world’s digital infrastructure company, Ali’s career is marked by innovation and strategic oversight.
Currently, Ali’s role and experience includes developing and implementing alternative power solutions - including nuclear, gas turbine, solar, wind, and other renewable energy sources. In her multifaceted role, Ali also oversees network and digital infrastructure, global software, hardware and connectivity, professional services, design and construction, major capital equipment and procurement transformation, ensuring robust and scalable frameworks to support global operations.
Ali's professional journey is characterized by strategic leadership roles in top-tier companies. Since August 2019, she has led global procurement strategies at Equinix, enhancing operational efficiency and sustainability. Her leadership has been instrumental in driving procurement practices that emphasize sustainability, ensuring that environmental considerations are integrated into procurement decisions. Her prior experience includes her tenure at Google, where she was the head of Global Capacity Delivery for 8 years.
